Yakima Valley Opera Announces Open Auditions for the Magic Flute
by W.A. Mozart to be staged August 10, 12, 18 and 19, 2012 at The Seasons Concert Hall in Yakima, WA.
GENERAL AUDITION DATES & TIMES
The Yakima Valley Opera invites all aspiring and established opera singers to audition for principal roles and/or chorus positions for the August 2012 production of The Magic Flute.
February 24th from 6-8pm in Richland, WA. Contact us here for location.
February 25th from 1-4pm at The Holy Redeemer Church (1701 south 3rd Ave) Yakima, WA.
February 26th 1-4pm Call Backs at The Seasons Performance Hall (101 North Naches Ave) Yakima, WA.
PRINCIPAL ARTIST AUDITIONS
The auditions for principal roles require a bio, and an Audition Request Form. A resume and a
head-shot would be appreciated. The auditions will be filmed so plan accordingly.
Those auditioning are required to sing one aria preferably in German.
An accompanist will be provided.
Download the Audition Request Form, and bring the completed form to your
audition.
CHORUS AUDITIONS
For the live audition, you are required to sing one art song or aria of your choice. Audition forms will be provided at the auditions.

. . . is a local company of not only vocal, but theatrical talent. If ever you were wishing Yakima, Washington had something going on then perhaps you missed one of our performances. It is never too late to catch one as we are a group that performs annually a mid-size to full productions. You can also book a small number of us for your very own special events.
